Sectional directional valves, series L.8S

The L.8S series of valves is an adaptable building-block system. The individual elements needed to meet the system requirements are selected, and are then assembled together to form a complete valve block.

The valves were developed for mobile applications and are particularly characterized by their robust design and compact dimensions. For building complete valves, the following types of sections are available:

• Block termination elements

   - inlet sections

   - end sections

• Intermediate sections

   - 2-way compensators (hydrostats)

   - 3-way compensators (hydrostats)

   - multi-way compensators (hydrostats)

• Directional sections with the following auxiliary valves

   - check valves

   - secondary pressure relief + make-up check valves

   - individual 2-way compensators (hydrostats)

Types of functions

1. 3-way compensator for fixed-displacement pump, with 2-stage relief function for the pump flow
2. Bottom-mounting individual compensator for load-independent parallel operation
3. Direct-acting proportional valve with integral carry-over of the actuator flow to the end section
4. Leak-free load-holding check valve with integral secondary pressure relief + make-up check valve
5. 2/2 seat valve for the float function
