SC22 – The new sandwich design proportional directional valve
for LS systems
With their new SC series Bucher Hydraulics are introducing a new load sensing sandwich valve for mobile and industrial applications in a flow range of up to 400 l/min per section. They have attached particular importance to creating a valve with very compact dimensions and great versatility with a high power density. This means that when compared to its predecessor the valve is significantly smaller and lighter but offers higher flow rates and can be equipped with a large number of characteristics that have not previously been available.
Its most important characteristics include:

A varied range of input modules for many different types of pump

Optional additional operations incorporated in the input modules such as peak pressure reduction or switchable pilot- operated pressure supply

Possibility to install anti-shock valves in consumer modules that support feedpipe pressure cut-off

Manual actuation that can also be combined with electrical or hydraulic activation

Available with a system that maintains parallel operations in an under-supply situation and puts priority functions into effect
(AVR = Automatic Volumetric flow Reduction)
All of the SC controls offer greatly improved operational capabilities, an example being their excellent flow control performance. Their design ensures a minimum of flow resistance while their modularity allows ideal adaptation to the application and customer requirements involved.
