SVC25:
600 l/min Proportional Valve
as per ATEX directive
Many of our customers’ applications require sensitive and precise movement positioning with a maximum flow rate of 600 l/min.
As described in our last Newsletter, the SVC25 proportional valve made by Bucher Hydraulics will fulfill this demand.
There is further customer demand for an SVC25 control suitable for offshore applications by conforming to the ATEX directive.
Ex protected pilot valves with solenoids are selected for this purpose during the project planning phase as they meet the ATEX directives. Extensive tests are carried out on the overall control to ensure that the specified surface temperatures are not exceeded. Afterwards, the entire documentation required to obtain certification is submitted with an officially recognized organization.
The customer is thus supplied with an ATEX compliant overall control unit.
These ATEX compliant controls have opened up new opportunities for us and our distributors winning innovative projects in the offshore sector.
