EN81-2 A3: What are the advantages of component certification?

Every elevator manufacturer has to prove for every installation that the elevator fulfils code requirements across the entire design load and temperature ranges.
With a certificate of the supplier it is much easier to have an easy and fast inspection with no delays.
For the supplier a certificate is a considerable additional work and expense - in return his component is a big step ahead of his competitors.
