The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for helping improve current manufacturing processes and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.You will
- Provide production support for process and quality issues
- Develop inspection processes
- Develop manufacturing processes to ensure quality
- Improve existing manufacturing processes
- Help meet department goals and objectives
- Troubleshoot production floor issues using problem solving skills
- Provide technical expertise and educate personnel about new methods and processes
- Research and help procure new equipment
- Launch new products
- Research new manufacturing processes
- Write standard work instructions for current and new processes
Your Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of experience within manufacturing engineering
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulic, electronics, and pneumatics preferred
- Communicate effectively with vendors
- Proven ability of workstation layout, 5S and Kaizen events
- 3D modeling experience, SolidWorks and/or Creo preferred
- Experience in lean manufacturing
- Leadership style- self-starter and high level of self-motivation
- Proficiency in team work, problem solving, and quality improvement tools
