Bucher Hydraulics’ Smart PowerPack S (SPP S) is an intelligent electrified power unit. This PowerPack offers greater controls and efficiencies over traditionally gas-powered hydraulic systems. 

The SPP S is equipped with an electronically variable pressure-balanced hydraulic pump, a single power input connection, and an integrated Negative Bypass Control cartridge valve.  

The Smart PowerPack S is a small power-on-demand system that combines various technologies creating a system that allows for use across multiple applications.  With its auto-recognition technology, simply plug your machine into the power unit, the operating parameters and user interface will adjust accordingly.

Zero emissions

While interest in electrified hydraulic power is growing in many industries, the Smart PowerPack S benefits the work truck market.

With zero emissions and quiet operation, this power unit is an excellent solution for areas where low noise pollution is a necessity.  

Power-on-Demand 

The power range of the Smart PowerPack S can operate machinery from a simple log splitter to a small to mid-sized backhoe and anything in between. Power coupled with the integration of CAN communication allows for better control and precision as well as making system feedback more accessible. This gives users better visibility to system health and provides information to monitor the machine's performance. 

With components such as a proprietary brushless motor, intelligent hydraulic sense package, and Bucher’s digital controller package, this power unit is continually reading and adapting to the conditions to provide power when it’s needed.
